Return & Replacement Policy
Our policy on returns, replacements, and transit damage.
At Yash Instrument Company, we take immense pride in the precision and quality of our scientific glassware. Given the specialized and fragile nature of our products, our return policy is designed to ensure safety and quality for all laboratories and industrial partners worldwide.
Standard Policy (New Customers & One-time Orders)
To maintain the highest standards of hygiene and laboratory safety, we follow a No-Return, No-Refund Policy for all standard orders from new customers.
Once glassware has been shipped and delivered, it cannot be returned due to the risk of contamination and transit damage during reverse shipping.
Regular & Contractual Clients
We value long-term business relationships. For our established, regular customers, we offer a Rejected Quantity Replacement service:
- Identification: If a specific quantity in a batch is rejected based on your internal quality parameters, notify us within 7 days of receipt.
- Resolution: We do not offer cash refunds. We will provide a one-to-one replacement of rejected items, dispatched alongside your next scheduled order.
- Documentation: A written rejection report specifying the product code, quantity, and reason is required to process the replacement.
Damaged in Transit Claims
We use export-grade 7-ply packaging with reinforced inner cushioning. In the rare event of transit damage:
- Photograph the damage immediately upon receipt, before unpacking all items.
- Email photographs and the delivery note to info@yashinstruments.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will assess the claim and dispatch replacements or issue a credit note as appropriate.
Sample Program
New clients are encouraged to order samples before committing to bulk purchases. Sample orders are non-refundable but provide a risk-free way to evaluate our glassware quality, calibration accuracy, and packaging first-hand.
